Sorry for being so slack.
Anyway, off that, I bought Yen Magazine issue 61 last Wednesday. With Lena Dunham (actor, writer and director of Girls) on the cover, I was interested to see what this issue was all about.

To be honest, I don't know much about Lena Dunham (apart from being the creator of Girls), so her interview was something I was looking forward to. I have never watched Girls (it's on Foxtel Showcase here, which I don't have) but Lena Dunham's interview with Jenny Davis was a great introduction to the writer/director.
Talking about her upbringing, Girls, generational characteristics and comedy, the interview was insightful, well-written and actually made me learn a few things about Girls!
Yen Magazine is a favourite Australian magazine of mine (along with Frankie, which comes out on the 13th of February). It showcases the very best of art, music, design, fashion, literature and little tidbits of other fun stuff, often choosing to feature Australians (which is nice).
I read this issue over the span of two days, cover to back.
The fashion spreads this issue were quite different to one another which was good as other times in the past they have been quite similar and the short film and music reviews were simple and helpful. Several music interviews with Foals, Jens Lekman and Icona Pop were also featured in this issue.
A (very) large interview with Grace Coddington and a guide to doing something different this year, as well as sticking to New Year's resolutions, were also highlights of the issue.
I highly recommend Yen issue 61 to anyone interested in a magazine that covers the very best of everything, particularly to those interested in fashion yet find magazines that focus just on fashion too boring (like I do).
My only regret of buying this issue is that I didn't get to savour each page and now have to wait another two months for the next issue.
Have any of you read Yen? Are there any other similar (or similar-sounding) magazines you would recommend?

I know and there are so many of them nowadays! Frankie is probably my favourite :) I would love to read Lula but I can't get it anywhere nearby, I think I'll have to order it online.
